Descrição:
We are a leading international company in the maritime sector with a consolidated position in the Brazilian market and we are seeking to fill an HSEQ Manager position at our headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Shall keep the HSEQ Director informed about status of all relevant activities related to HSEQ;
2. On request perform or participate in internal office audits and suppliers audits;
3. Update dedicated processes/reference documents in SIMS (up to status for Department Approval);
4. Ensure the competency and adequacy of personnel and material resources such that work/projects are on time, within budget and conform to customer expectations;
5. On request participate in the Contingency Team;
6. Supply Chartering department with HSEQ part of tenders;
7. On request support and or lead accident/incident investigations;
8. Monitor and recommend clean-up for unnecessary information in the UniSea ISPS, UniSea
MSDS and UniSea Risk databases for dedicated vessels in collaboration with the vessel and monthly update relevant Department application responsible;
9. On request, provide HSEQ-related inductions for new employees, or employees requiring refreshment, both ashore or offshore (beyond mandatory training performed by training Department).
10. Overall responsible for follow up and maintain the UniSea HSE and UniSea Risk database;
11. Responsible for News Bulletins and all HSE Statistics figures;
12. Review proposal for Master Review prepared by HSSQ Dept. position HSEQ System Manager /HSSQ Dept positions.
13. Person in this position may have additional responsibilities or to act in accordance with details given "Segment Classification HSSEQ Department".
Other Information:
1. Secondary education or higher;
2. Proven experience within HSEQ profession onshore or from a maritime officer role;
3. Fluent English language speaker, reader and writer;
4. Thorough knowledge of marine activities relative to vessel operating parameters;
5. Strong coordination, organization and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to complex issues.
