ABOUT THE ROLE:
The purpose of the Expert Artwork Planner role is to lead the end-to-end artwork development process for new product initiatives, from the design phase until production release to the supplier as well as all the existing artwork updates depending on the needs You will manage simultaneously multiple projects that may be at different points in the project cycle, and you will need to be comfortable with a high level of complexity.
You will join The Global Hair Artwork Team, which contributes to global initiatives delivery. We collaborate cross-functionally and strive to deliver 100% of artworks right-first-time, on-time, with zero quality defects and with high contribution to cost saving.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Drive on your own complex packaging artwork development from the design phase until printing as a trusted artwork expert and a valued business partner.
• Drive on your own copy creation process ensuring claims on pack are approved, respective translation process is followed, and final translation is delivered for artwork creation.
• Provide guidance for local/global marketing on which copy elements are required to be present on design and artworks.
• Train functional resources and translation agency on copy process and requirements.
• Lead the kick-off meeting with the respective functions and drive resolution of issues between involved functions to enable on time and in quality artwork delivery.
• Lead the artwork project schedule to deliver artwork in synchronization with the overall initiative schedule and per initiative success criteria, collaborating with a multi-functional team and external suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvements in Artwork processes, defining, standardizing, and implementing them within the Brazil team.
• Lead, coach, and train your multi-functional Team on the artwork process and tools
• Own the delivery of key artwork process metrics.
• Initiate and lead artwork meetings to address, resolve or escalate issues, driving the decision-making process within Initiative team and with external business partners.
• Lead and provide proper risk management to the stakeholders.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implementation of structural fixes in case of final artwork rejections, and request action plan from the multi-functional team for results improvement.
• Build strong relationships and maintain them with the graphic artwork studio
WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:
• Experience in supply chain planning or project management;
• Ability to engage a team and coordinate it to achieve a common objective, creating an atmosphere of trust, support, and positive cooperation;

• Leadership skills to manage complexity and to collaborate with and influence internal multifunctional teams and suppliers in a dynamic environment;

• Excellent expertise-sharing skills;
• Proven record of analyses of complex data sets and processes, and of presenting the outcomes (including leadership), driving the decision-making process;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• Mastery of MS Office tools;
• (nice-to-have) Experience with ESKO WebCenter and MS Project ;
• (nice-to-have) Knowledge and understanding of standard industry pre-press and printing, materials, and substrates.
