DESCRIPTION

Our customer is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Global Equipment Engineering group as part of their continued growth strategy, to push for better products and improve customer experience.

In this role, the engineer will focus on creating customer-specific equipment designs while being part of a global technology-focused team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

• English – Advanced / Fluent (mandatory).

• Strong technical and analytical abilities.

• Computer proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor or similar) and PLM workspace.

• Proficient with using measuring devices and tools.

• Experience with the development of mechanical projects for industrial equipment.

• Experience with technical design, projects of solutions applied to industrial manufacturing processes, which also includes knowledge in pneumatics.

• Mobility to Indaiatuba/SP region.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of vibration, noise and NR-12 is a plus.

• Experience with sheet metal – cutting, bending and weldment process.

• Familiarity with machinery process and components standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build an in-depth understanding of the Company Equipment Technology.

• Design customer-specific conveyance solutions using advanced design automation tools.

• Drive the development of global technology-focused design teams.

• Collaborate with operational departments globally to maximize customer value through designs.

• Drive continuous improvement of design, tools, and processes.

• Value engineering of equipment design, components, and materials.

• Support equipment installation & start-up and assist with troubleshooting field issues sometimes at customer site.
